NFTS graduation documentary, Abrázame, directed by Jas Doyle-Pitt, has won the Jury Award for Best Documentary Short at the 22nd Cine Las Americas International Film Festival which took place in Austin, Texas. It was the only UK winner at the festival which was dominated by North and Latin American films.

Abrázame synopsis: Six-year-old Jhoselyin and her friends live in San Sebastian Prison, Bolivia, with their mothers. We see the world through their world through their eyes; their games, imaginations, and fantasies.
