Students on the Directing and Producing Television Entertainment MA were lucky enough to hone their pitching skills with top commissioners at Sky last week.
NFTS Head of Television David G Croft said: “This was a fantastic opportunity for the students to pitch to real life commissioners and get feedback on their ideas and pitching techniques. Being able to effectively sell an idea is an important skill to have in the television industry so this was a hugely valuable experience for the students. A big thank you for everyone at Sky for making this happen!”
Commissioners at the session included Sky’s Commissioning Editor Barbara Lee: “It was a joy to meet this year’s cohort of TV Entertainment students who brought lots of energy and creativity to the room. We are always looking for the next generation of talent to push the industry forward and this group certainly has a bright future ahead. I look forward to seeing what they achieve once they graduate.”
