An incredible two out of the three films selected in the ‘Newcomer’ category of this year’s Green Screen Festival are NFTS Directing Science and Natural History MA graduation films: Now Or Never by Matt Senior and Worlds Beyond Our Vision by Chris Orr. Green Screen which takes place between the 11th and 15th September in Eckernförde, Germany is one of the most important natural history festivals in the world alongside Wild Screen in Bristol and Jackson Hole in Wyoming.

Worlds Beyond Our Vision: Have you ever wondered what the world looks like through the eyes of another creature? We only see a tiny fraction of the light spectrum that illuminates our planet, but some animals can see a world beyond our vision.

Now Or Never highlights the plight of the rare Tapanuli orangutan and is the first ever documentary on the Tgreat ape species, which with less than 800 in the world, are the rarest of all great apes and face an uncertain future. The film and has already screened across five continents and has just won a rhino trophy for ‘Best Documentary’ at this year’s British Documentary Film Festival’ which took place in May in Leicester Square.
