In person delivery (subject to government guidelines allowing) with COVID-19 protocols in place This course is for those working in unscripted TV both Factual and Specialist Factual who want to learn and practice the skills required to become a successful Edit Producer. It’s intended for newcomers to the role and those with Edit Producer credits who want to take their craft to the next level. The focus of the course is popular formatted shows that make up the bulk of factual UK TV. The course will cover: This course is led by Steve Evanson, the Co-Creator and Series Editor of BBC Coast and prime mover behind the show becoming a global brand. He was the Series Producer on Countryfile and has Edit Produced both factual and specialist factual including Coast, Countryfile, Harvest, Secret Britain, Rough Science for the BBC, and Walks with my Dog for Channel 4. As a Series Producer he has managed numerous edits and taught AP’s and Researchers to become successful Edit Producers.
