NFTS Scotland: Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro Online

Short course


This two day introductory course takes place online. You should have access to a computer with Adobe Premiere Pro installed for the duration of the course.

Importing and organising your footage

Basic Editing Skills
Transitions and Effects
Adding Graphics and Titles
Colour Correction

Image and Video manipulation
Exporting your video

Editing in the Timeline
Working with Audio

About the tutor: 

Wolf Winter started as a programmer and moved into 3D animation then 2D animation, motion graphics, compositing and editing. He has spent over 30 years mainly in the film and broadcast television industries, and now works freelance as a production artist, educator and lecturer.

Fees and funding options

Fees for this course are as follows:

Freelance Rate: £345
Corporate Rate: £695


As part of our work to diversify the screen industry workforce, there is reduction in fees of up to 50% made available by our partnership with the BFI for UK freelancers with disabilities, who are ethnically diverse or from lower socio-economic backgrounds

Bursaries, supported by Screen Scotland, are also available for those who are eligible.

A limited number of bursaries are available for all of our short courses. If you wish to apply for a bursary to contribute to the costs of your course, please read the bursary guidelines below carefully to confirm your eligibility. Please do not apply to a course unless you are sure you meet the bursary eligibility criteria, or can pay for the course by other means.

Please apply as far in advance of the course date as possible (and no later than 10 working days in advance of the course date) to give yourself the best chance of securing a supported place, as we may not be able to accommodate all applications.
