Overview
Designed to provide you with a thorough, rapid and practical introduction to operational editing techniques using AVID. Class time is divided between short illustrated lectures, demonstrations and (lots of) hands-on practice. The course covers everything you need to know about Avid including: Creating a new project in the correct format Opening/closing and saving projects Import file based material Timewarp and conventional motion effect One Person Per System Experience with Avid systems is not necessary. A working background in editing, production or post-production is recommended but not essential For this course you need to be computer competent.
