Come behind the scenes at the world-famous National Film and Television School.  Look around the campus where Wallace and Gromit were born and look around the state-of-the-art facilities. During your visit you will learn about the wide range of careers available behind the camera in the film, TV, and games industry.

Through hands-on workshops designed and delivered by current NFTS students, each workshop has a different theme and aim to develop skills and knowledge in varied career areas, some you may know already, some you might not.. Finally, you will get to see some of our BAFTA winning student films in our cinema, which has hosted many of the biggest names in Film and TV!

FAQs

What is Access NFTS?

Access NFTS is the Outreach and Inclusion programme from the National Film and Television School (NFTS). We want to work with people already interested in a career in the industry, as well as those wanting to discover what opportunities are available to them.

Who are these events for?

We believe a career in this industry can be a reality for anyone, regardless of their background, experience or circumstance. Whether you are leaving education, or looking for a career change, Access NFTS is here to help you explore your options and realise your potential.

It is important to us that, through this programme, we are creating opportunities for groups traditionally under-represented in both higher education and the film, TV and games industry. This includes priorities based on:

Age | (Dis)ability | Gender | Sexual orientation | Location in the UK | Socio-economic status | Care experience

If you have any queries or would like to work with our Outreach team, please email outreach@nfts.co.uk
