About
Whether you are already interested in film, TV and games, or you haven’t yet discovered the world of opportunities behind the camera — we want to work with you!
The Access NFTS: Inspire events are designed to offer a deeper insight and provide skills, knowledge and inspiration for a career within the film, TV and games industry.
Event Details
Location: The Backlot Cinema, Blackpool | Experience: Entry Level - Intermediate | Duration: 3 Hours | Capacity: 75 pax | Cost: FREE
Attendees will hear from NFTS students/graduates with links to the local area/region within a specific career area or role.
Through watching their work and hearing about their journey to where they are now, attendees will not only leave with knowledge and information, useful tips and advice from someone currently working in the industry, but hopefully also feel inspired to pursue a career in this industry themselves.
There is also a small hands on workshop running in the afternoon, details of which will be sent to anyone booked onto this event,
Travel bursaries may be available if finance/travel creates a barrier for attendance, please contact us to discuss further.

FAQs
- What is Access NFTS?
Access NFTS is the Outreach and Inclusion programme from the National Film and Television School (NFTS). We want to work with people already interested in a career in the industry, as well as those wanting to discover what opportunities are available to them.
- Who are these events for?
We believe a career in this industry can be a reality for anyone, regardless of their background, experience or circumstance. Whether you are leaving education, or looking for a career change, Access NFTS is here to help you explore your options and realise your potential.
It is important to us that, through this programme, we are creating opportunities for groups traditionally under-represented in both higher education and the film, TV and games industry. This includes priorities based on:
Age | (Dis)ability | Gender | Sexual orientation | Location in the UK | Socio-economic status | Care experience
