Wednesday 15th May
3:30pm - 4:30pm - Shooting for the Edit | Book your place
Filming is probably the costliest part of the production process, so we always want to make sure we have what we need for the edit. But when is enough enough?
In this session we will be joined by the Editing team at Yellowmoon, one of Ireland’s leading post houses, who will share their advice and tips, from the editors point of view, on how thinking about the edit while you are shooting will help you capture the footage they need to tell the story.
4:45pm - 5:45pm - Unlocking the Magic of Multi-Camera Production | Book your place
Discover the huge range of productions which use multi-camera filming like comedy, events, music, sport, quizzes and light entertainment. Find out about who does what, the variety of jobs and what skills are needed to be successful.
The panel will be hosted by John FD Northover, an award-winning director, who has worked extensively throughout Europe and America. He is responsible for some of the UK’s most celebrated documentaries, comedy series and films.
Panel guests are Sinead Murphy who has over 20 years’ experience directing a variety of live studio and multi camera Sport Outside Broadcasts including Rugby, GAA, Soccer and Athletics, and also State occasions such as Presidential Inaugurations, State Visits and ceremonial events and Stephen Stewart, award winning founder of Green Inc.
