Mobile and casual games represent the majority of games released globally every year. Indie games is an exciting space to be because small developers and teams can find enormous success by reaching new audiences. In this one-week course for newcomers to games, students will learn all the fundamental technical skills that are needed to get started on an exciting journey into the games industry. As part of a creative team, students will work collaboratively together to build a simple and fun video game.

Students will be divided into equally sized teams and tasked with creating a fully playable game. Morning sessions will focus on teaching and fundamentals. Afternoons will focus on group work and tutor support in creating a complete game.
