In 2018, as an Exec-Producer, Byron's short film 'Wren Boys' was nominated for a BAFTA and selected at Sundance, BIFA, SXSW, and Hong Kong International Film Festival. 'Wren Boys' also won 'Best Short Film' at Oscar-qualifying - Galway Film Fleadh. That same year, Byron produced 'The Nightmare on Deskeeth Street' - nominated at BFI Film Festival, London Film Festival, Aesthetica, and Dublin International Film Festival, and directed by 'Jury Prize' Sundance-winning Director, Dylan Holmes Williams. Byron's debut feature film 'Butterfly Kisses' was nominated at a host of illustrious film festivals worldwide before landing a 'Crystal Bear' Award at Berlinale International Film Festival. More recently, Byron teamed up with Heyday Films Development Exec Anna Hargreaves to produce the Rom-horror 'Aftertaste', starring Jessica Brown Findlay ('Black Mirror', 'Downton Abbey', 'Harlots') and Joe Dempsie ('Skins', 'Game of Thrones'). The short premiered at Frightfest was selected at Grimfest and Panicfest and was also part of the London Short Film Festival program. Byron is currently co-producing a feature film with producer Andy Paterson ('The Girl with the Pearl Earring', 'The Railway Man') written by BAFTA Rocliffe-winner Roland Walters. The film is based on a short story by acclaimed British novelist Mark Haddon. In addition to his achievements in the narrative world, Byron has produced high-end television commercials for the likes of Bentley, Under Armour, Square Payment, Selfridges, ITV, Peugeot, Volvic, Marriott Hotels, and Volkswagen (to name a few), working alongside production companies including Ridley Scott Associates, Partizan, Park Village Studios, and FRIEND London.
