I now feel I have an extensive understanding of how the Factual TV development to transmission process is executed. I have met and questioned industry figures from all areas of Production. I learnt to recognise and develop ideas for different channel brands and can confidently write production documents and pitch original ideas. This was put into practice by pitching to Discovery a TLC one-off mini film idea for the Jodie Marsh series My Maasai Sex Warrior, looking at the East African male sex industry in an interactive style. I am now freelance, having worked as Researcher on GPs: Behind Closed Doors (Knickerbockerglory TV) and am now working at Renegade on documentary The Tribe (Ch4). I would eventually like to produce my own factual/factual entertainment TV.
