Jonas Grimas is an award winning Swedish writer and director based in London. He won a FAFTA for his short film ‘Artisten’, and was nominated for the same award for ‘Marooned’ - a film set in Glasgow. He has directed around 100 hours of prime-time drama and documentaries, including Silent Witness, Hamish Macbeth, Wallander, Hope and Glory and Heartbeat to name but a few. He is currently combining his filmmaking with teaching at the London Film School and mentoring at various other schools around the UK and Europe. He has delivered this course in five countries since 2016.
