Hands-On Camera Training - Funding Available

The National Film and Television School and the ScreenSkills managed HETV Skills Fund are excited to offer yet another funding opportunity for future filmmakers, looking to study on the NFTS Assistant Camera (Focus Pulling and Loading) Diploma.

The recipient of the scholarship will receive £7,000 towards their course costs, with an additional £3,000 contribution to their living expenses.

Consisting of three highly practical modules, the part-time professional diploma is taught by industry professionals and allows you to train alongside students in other specialisms including cinematography, directing fiction, VFX and more to produce high-quality productions across film and television.

The scholarship will be open to women and non-binary people from lower socio-economic backgrounds in an effort to increase diversity and inclusion within this field. ScreenSkills and The National Film and Television School are passionate about expanding access to this exciting industry and we know funding is a key player in doing this.
