About the day

Do you have a passion for science and the natural world alongside a love of storytelling? If so, we would love you to join us for this FREE day of talks and workshops highlighting how you can document the way we interact with the world, and help to bring together the stories that need to be told.

Hearing from, and working with, industry professionals and students from the MA Directing and Producing Science and Natural History course, we hope to inspire you to discover more about this exciting career and leave with the knowledge and tools to potentially be part of the future of this wonderful genre of the Film and TV industry.

Who is this event for?

The NFTS Outreach programme is open to those aged 17 and over

We want to work with people already interested in a career in the industry, as well as those wanting to discover what opportunities are available to them. It is important to us that, through this programme, we are creating opportunities for those from groups traditionally under-represented in both Higher Education and the film, TV and games industry. Priority* therefore will be given to applicants based on criteria including, but not limited to:

Age | Disability | Gender | Ethnicity | Sexual orientation | Location in the UK | Socio-economic status | Care experience

*50% of places will be held.
