A graduate of Central School of Drama, Griff Rowland began his film-making career directing and producing arts documentaries for the BBC. Since moving into drama, he has directed S4C’s award winning series Cowbois ac Injans, cult detective drama, Hinterland (BBC FOUR/S4C), Coronation Street (ITV), including Christmas Day hour long episode; Hollyoaks (CH4), Holby City (BBC ONE) and Russell T Davies’s Wizards vs Aliens (BBC/Freemantle). He recently directed a six part series set in a prison ‘Bariau’ for S4C which was much acclaimed and is soon to go into production for a second season.
