Eight NFTS Productions Longlisted For 2025 BAFTA Student Awards
On Thursday 1 May, BAFTA announced the 75 projects longlisted for the 2025 BAFTA Student Awards and the National Film and Television School (NFTS) is proud to have more selections than any film school or University in the world.
Chosen from projects submitted from 154 schools across 39 countries, the 8 outstanding NFTS projects were selected across Animation, Live Action, Documentary and Games categories. NFTS games have been longlisted for the awards every year since the newest category began in 2021.

In 2024, two National Film and Television School productions took home awards at the BAFTA Student Award Ceremony in LA. The BAFTA Student Award for Games was awarded to There Was A Home, designed and developed by Wid Alhajjaji and the Special Jury Prize was awarded to animation Dragfox, directed by Lisa Ott and starring the legendary Ian McKellen and Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK Divina de Campo.
