NFTS Films Dominate 2023 RTS Student Nominations!

The nominations for the Royal Television Society Student Television Awards 2023 have been announced, with a phenomenal 10 of the 15 nominated films made by students of the National Film and Television School! 

The stage is set for an exciting awards ceremony on Friday 23 June, as NFTS films reign supreme across multiple categories, including the Postgraduate Animation category, where all three competing films will showcase the extraordinary talents of our exceptional students.

Each and every NFTS film nomination is testament to the remarkable collaboration from students spanning various disciplines within the School. From masterful Cinematography to awe-inspiring Sound Design, from mesmerising Composing to outstanding Visual Effects, these films exemplify the pinnacle of creativity and skill taught while studying with one of the world’s leading film schools. The projects were filmed in 2022 in multiple locations, from our iconic animation studios in Beaconsfield, home to the beloved duo Wallace and Gromit, to the remote sagebrush desert of Nevada, these productions are already starting to make their mark on the world of film!
