NFTS Graduates Dominate Nominations for 2025 BAFTA Television And BAFTA Television Craft Awards
The nominees for the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards and the BAFTA Television Craft Awards have been announced, and the National Film and Television School is celebrating another year chock-full of graduate nominations. Our talented graduates are up for awards across the categories, from Drama Series, Director: Fiction, Production Design, Emerging Talent: Fiction and more.
Baby Reindeer swept nominations this year, with directing graduate Weronika Tofilska up for Director: Fiction and Limited Drama alongside editing graduate Benjamin Gerstein nominated for Editing: Fiction, and sound designer Tom Jenkins, for their work on the ground-breaking show. The NFTS is also proud to see Prime Video Directors Workshop 2022 participant Mitch Kalisa nominated for Emerging Talent: Fiction.
A host of our fantastic sound graduates are named in the Sound: Fiction category, including supervising dialogue/ADR editor Adele Fletcher for House of the Dragon, dialogue editor Duncan Price, re-recording mixer Martin Jensen and sound designer Alex Ellerington for their work on Slow Horses, and Tom Jenkins, who picked up a second nomination for True Detective: Night Country. Continuing the audio streak, the NFTS also saw two talented composing graduates pick up nominations: Rivals composer Natalie Holt for Original Music: Fiction, and American Nightmare composer Jessica Jones for Original Music: Factual.
Other graduate nominations include Sherwood director Clio Bernard and Supacell series producer Joanna Crow for Drama Series, a Production Design nomination for Dominic Hyman for Rivals, and director and executive producer for Say Nothing, Michael Lennox for International.
