Presenting The NFTS Graduate Showcase 2024!
The National Film and Television School (NFTS) is thrilled to announce the annual NFTS Graduate Showcase will be returning to the BFI Southbank from Monday 19th February to Thursday 22nd February 2024.
Supported by BBC Studios, this very special week is packed with screenings, presentations and networking events, providing a well-deserved chance for this year’s graduating cohort to share their work - all made during their time at the School, with some of the biggest names from across the film, television and games industries.
Spanning short films, TV formats, commercials, games and much more, the work stands as a calling card for our students who, following the Showcase, will graduate and take their next steps into the industry. This year’s unmissable projects are a melting pot of stories exploring topics from current affairs and mental health to martial arts and matchmaking, taking place across the world from cosy Cornish islands to New York City.
Work screened at last year's Showcase enjoyed incredible success at awards and festivals worldwide. Productions went on to win a range of awards from a Student Academy Award, to a Grierson, from the International Documentary Award to Jackson Wild. They screened at some of the biggest film festivals in the world, including Cannes, with two of the projects, animation Crab Day and fiction Jellyfish and Lobster recently longlisted for the BAFTA Film Awards.
This cohort of students have once again impressed us with their dedication and passion and we couldn't be prouder. We can’t wait to see what these productions and the class of ‘24 go on to achieve!
The NFTS Graduate Showcase events are for industry guests only but you can take a look at our social media channels for a behind the scenes insight into the work that will be on show.
