This is a one-week course in single camera drama direction, intended for participants who have some experience in another role in film or TV and want to learn about directing.

The course will cover the nature of dramatic text, script analysis, casting, how to work with actors, how to prepare for rehearsal and shooting, how to direct actors and crew on set.

Participants will have opportunities to work with professional actors and will each direct a scene in a propped classroom environment that will be professionally shot and edited.  Feedback will come from the course tutor, fellow students and the actors you work with.
