AI in Film & Television: Creative Opportunities & Ethical Realities

Content Tabs

This two-day course introduces participants to the fast-evolving world of artificial intelligence in film and television, focusing on both the creative possibilities and ethical responsibilities of using AI in the production pipeline.

Designed as a taster for the longer Certificate in AI in Film & Television, this intensive workshop will help participants understand how AI tools can enhance every stage of the creative process—from concept development and mood boarding to editing and post-production workflows.

Crucially, the course will also explore the legal, ethical, and cultural questions that surround AI’s growing use in the creative industries, empowering participants to explore AI critically, confidently, and responsibly.

This course is ideal for filmmakers, producers, content creators, development execs, and post professionals who want to better understand where and how AI fits into modern production—without losing sight of its potential challenges.

On completion of the course, participants will have a strong foundational understanding of the role AI can play in creative workflows, the legal and ethical frameworks that govern its use, and the right questions to ask when applying AI to their own work.
