About the Summer Sessions
We are excited to announce the return of our popular Access NFTS Summer Sessions for 2026!
These FREE hands on sessions are open to young people aged 11–16 and will run throughout August at our Beaconsfield campus. Each week, participants can choose from at least four different 2 hour workshops, each exploring a unique career pathway in the Film, TV and Games industries.
Save the Shoot: Chaos Control on Set!
When a multi-million-pound movie set descends into total madness, who saves the day? The Production Manager.
Production Managers are the wheels that keep the movie car moving. They run the logistics, manage the money, and protect the crew. In this high-stakes workshop, you will step into the hot seat of a real production team to launch a project and guide it safely to the finish line.
Here is your mission:
Phase 1: Crew Up & Budget
Build the dream team: Generate your project idea and assign crucial crew roles.
Crunch the numbers: Learn how to manage a real production budget without running out of cash.
Mitigate the risks: Map out potential disasters before the cameras even roll.
Phase 2: The Disaster Zone (Real-World Crises)
Think everything goes perfectly on a Hollywood set? Think again. Your team will have to react fast to live production problems.
You will learn the ultimate industry secret: Don’t save the plan, save the shoot!
No filmmaking experience required. Just bring your problem-solving brains.
