Join us on 3rd October 2026, and spend the day meeting current students and graduates, hearing from leading industry figures, exploring the NFTS campus and finding out more about courses, applications, scholarships and careers.

Anthony Andrews
Creative Director & Co-Founder, We Are Parable

Anthony Andrews is the Creative Director and Co-Founder of We Are Parable, an award-winning film exhibition and distribution company dedicated to creating unique and memorable experiences around Black cinema.

We Are Parable began distributing films in 2023, including BAFTA-winning Earth Mama, Banel & Adama and Dreamers. In 2023, the company received a Special Jury Award at the British Independent Film Awards for its contribution to the film and television industry.

Ade Rawcliffe
Chief People & Inclusion Officer, ITV

Ade Rawcliffe is Chief People & Inclusion Officer at ITV, leading its HR, workplace services, global risk operations and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams. 

With over 20 years’ experience in television, Ade began her career in production, working on programmes including Big Brother, The Big Breakfast and This Morning, before moving into diversity and inclusion.

She joined ITV in 2017 and has since led major initiatives to increase diversity and develop talent across the industry. Ade is also a Trustee of Chineke! and BAFTA, where she chairs the Learning, Inclusion & Talent Committee.

Aisha Boudjillouli

Director and Animator

Aisha Boudjillouli is a multidisciplinary director and animator based in London. His work treads the line between tragedy and comedy as he explores the nuance of social issues through the lens of visceral human emotion. His work has screened internationally, with his latest film ‘Eyeliner’ winning Best Animated Film at the 2026 OpenFrame International Film Festival.

Funmbi Ogunbanwo
CEO and Co-founder, Fatherland

Funmbi is a Sundance award-winning producer, an accredited member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), and a creative industrialist. As co-founder and CEO of Fatherland, she leads a creative powerhouse from Africa, shaping the future of film, television, and digital content.

Funmbi has been instrumental in driving new narratives that center African storytelling. Fatherland made history with the film My Father’s Shadow, the first Nigerian film ever to be selected for the Cannes Film Festival, receiving a Caméra d’Or Special Mention for Best First Feature. The groundbreaking project was made possible through a first-of-its-kind international co-production and financing partnership with Element Pictures UK, BBC Film, the BFI, and MUBI.

My Father’s Shadow also won Outstanding Debut at the 2026 BAFTAs and was the UK’s official submission to the 2026 Oscars.

Ché Scott-Heron Newton
Documentary Filmmaker

Ché Scott-Heron Newton is a London-based documentary filmmaker. Her debut short, Murewa, premiered in competition at SXSW in 2025 and went on to screen at DOC NYC, Clermont-Ferrand and festivals internationally. It was longlisted for both a BIFA and a Grierson Award and received several jury prizes. Before moving into directing, Ché spent five years working as an assistant producer in premium documentary. She has also worked as a programme adviser for Sheffield DocFest and the Human Rights Watch Film Festival and co-curated the Barbican’s Chronic Youth Film Festival. Ché studied Media and Sociology at Goldsmiths and is currently studying Directing Documentary at the National Film and Television School.

Conrad Reid
Screenwriter

Conrad Neo Reid was born and raised in South Africa before moving to the UK in 2019, where he began his career as a lighting technician working across film, television and commercials. His credits include Harry Potter, Dreaming Whilst Black, Bridgerton, Wonka and Matilda, among others.

Conrad has also appeared in several West End productions, including La Forza del Destino, Carmen and Tosca. Alongside his professional work, he has written and directed several short films, most notably Toothache, which was selected as one of the Top 25 films in the 2024 Straight 8 competition.

Diana Duah
Associate Producer at Element Pictures

Diana Duah is a London-based producer, Associate Producer at Element Pictures, and NFTS alumna working across film and television. Her credits include the BAFTA-winning short Jellyfish and Lobster and Grierson-winning documentary With Woman for The Guardian.

At Element Pictures, Diana works across development and production, contributing to projects including Bugonia, Kinds of Kindness, My Father’s Shadow and Pillion.

Before moving into film, Diana spent five years at British Vogue, working on international fashion shoots and campaigns. She trained in Production Management at the NFTS and holds an MBA from Regent’s University London. She is passionate about championing diverse voices and supporting greater access to the film and television industry.

Helena Boateng
Production Manager

Warner Bros Scholar and National Film & Television School alumna, Helena Boateng works as a production manager across film and music. She has worked for Working Title, Warner Brothers and on critically acclaimed short films for the BFI Network and artists such as Little Simz. Helena has previous experience across reality TV and feature news shows. She has a passion for organisational efficiency and sustainability and is always one step ahead.

Segun Akinola
Composer

Segun Akinola is a British-Nigerian composer for film and television who has strengthened many projects with his musical acumen. He is most known for his music in the three series of Doctor Who starring the first female Doctor, Jodie Whittaker. 

A BAFTA Breakthrough Brit 2017, Segun’s other work includes scoring Sundance 2019 favourite and World Soundtrack Award nominee The Last Tree, Apple TV+ feature 9/11: Inside The President's War Room, the BBC/BritBox Agatha Christie adaptation Murder Is Easy, survival thriller film The Bayou, docuseries Origin: The Story of the Basketball Africa League for director-producer Richard Brown (True Detective), plus the Milli Vanilli biopic Girl You Know It's True.

Segun’s most recent scores include the David Attenborough-narrated BBC natural history series Kingdom. His work has screened at acclaimed festivals like Sundance, the BFI London Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, SXSW Film Festival, LA Film Festival, BlackStar Film Festival and many others.

Tracey Murray
Writer

Tracey Murray is a writer and a 2025 graduate of the NFTS, where she received the Most Promising Student Award. Her graduation film Red Egg & Ginger premiered at Tribeca and screened at BFI London Film Festival and AFI Fest. Her RTS-winning animation Death's Peak premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival and was BAFTA-longlisted in 2026. She is a fellow of OKRE’s Laughing Matters Climate Comedy Lab and a Female Pilot Club Finalist for her script Sheltered — a workplace sitcom set in a women’s homeless shelter. A proud working-class South Londoner, she writes bold, character-driven work championing underrepresented voices.

Anu Henriques 
BBC Film Development Executive

Before joining the BBC, Anu Henriques worked across both film and TV at Fable Pictures. Prior to this, she worked with Sarah Gavron as Associate Director on Rocks. Henriques is also the founder and co-director of Skin Deep, an arts and culture organization focused on making space for Black creatives and creatives of color. She is also the co-director of We Are Bridge, an organization set up to ensure the sustained legacy of new and emerging talent within the film & TV industry. Most recently, she has worked with organizations such as Roundhouse and Counterpoints Arts in programming, commissioning, and producing.

Naeem Dxvis
Editor 

Naeem Dxvis is an editor, producer and curator working across fiction, documentary and artists’ moving image. They co-founded BBZ and worked as a curator and film programmer for a decade before moving into editing and producing. During this time, they developed projects with Tate Modern, the ICA, BFI, Glastonbury Festival and the British Council.

Naeem was creative producer and post-production supervisor on Prayers for Sweet Waters, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2022. They also creatively produced and edited Eyes to See, which premiered at BFI Flare and later screened at BlackStar and NewFest. Their background in curation and programming continues to inform their work as an editor.

Melissa Cofie
Cinematographer

Melissa Angela Cofie is a London-born cinematographer and filmmaker, currently completing her MA in Cinematography at the National Film and Television School as a recipient of the Netflix Black Female Cinematographer Scholarship.

Working across narrative, music videos and commercial projects, Melissa has built experience both behind the camera and within production, with previous work spanning brands and organisations including LADbible, O2, Domino’s and Cadbury’s. Alongside her filmmaking, she is passionate about making the industry feel more accessible to the next generation of creatives, using her platform, Maco Media, to share honest insight into cinematography, film school and building a career in film and television.

Nigel Tadyanehondo
VFX Specialist /Colourist

Nigel is an Independent Colourist based in London working on a wide range of projects which include animations, commercials, music promos, short films and feature films. He particularly loves working on projects with rich colours and textures and always relishes the opportunity to grade projects shot on film.

He has worked on films that have been selected for international film festivals such as SXSW, BAFTA, OSCAR Student Academy, BFI London, Grierson. and many more. Nigel’s clients include Arsenal, British Vogue, EA Sports, Adidas, Nike, Netflix, and Amazon.

Mykea Fairweather Perry
Director | Weekend One 

Mykea Fairweather Perry is a writer-director from Southeast London. He graduated from the National Film and Television School in March 2025, specialising in Directing Fiction, where he wrote and directed a number of short films including his graduation film, WEEKEND ONE. His previous shorts have screened at BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying festivals worldwide. In 2022, Mykea’s short film SHARING earned him a Sundance Ignite Fellowship, and later with support of the Sundance Institute, he went on to write and direct PACKING AWAY starring Nathan Stewart-Jarrett. Mykea is now developing his debut feature film.
