David Allison

David Allison is a TV Scriptwriter and occasional playwright from Leeds with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. David wrote the hit Channel 4 series, THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR which was filmed in Leeds and Belgium, and was on screen in Autumn 2023 on Channel 4 in the UK and Starz in the US. Recent credits also include the latest series of the ITV/Netflix show MARCELLA. His own original series include horror series BEDLAM (Sky) and comedy drama BOY MEETS GIRL (ITV). David has taught at the Arvon Foundation, Central St Martin’s in London and at Leeds Beckett University, and is passionate about diverse Northern voices being represented in the industry.
