Dr Tawia Abbam

Tawia is a Scotland-based writer, teacher, and researcher whose work examines the architecture of discrimination, tracing how it is built and entered from different points across language, the body, and movement. Her current projects include ethnographic research into surfing cultures and writing on the structural forces that shape how people move through the world. When she's not writing, you'll find her chasing music and travel across continents.
