Ethan Lennon is an Editor living and working in Edinburgh. Having studied Film at Edinburgh Napier University, he specialised in editing in his final year, and has already worked on several short film projects, including one nominated for a Student RTS award, as well as serving as a finishing editor, data wrangler, and DIT on several other shorts projects.
He finds editing a deeply enriching practice, and strongly believes in its importance in building an emotional connection between the audience and the story they are experiencing. He especially enjoys films that explore morally ambiguous characters, who as the story develops we come to understand and sympathise with more.
He is excited to gain more experience and opportunities from his participation in the Sean Connery Talent Lab, and is looking forward to his continued development and future as part of the film community in Scotland. Growing up in and living in Scotland for most of his life, he is eager to give back to the community and country that has fuelled his creative passions and inspirations.
