Eubha Akilade is an actor/writer/director from Glasgow. Working as an actor and being on sets from a young age, Eubha quickly developed a keen interest in behind-the-scenes.

After completing a 6-month screenwriting programme through the National Film and Television School in 2021, she received her first short film commission, through the BFI and Screen Scotland. The short Blackwool, written and directed by Eubha, had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, the first Scottish narrative short to ever do so. Blackwool is still on the festival circuit and has shown at various BAFTA qualifying festivals since. Eubha also co-wrote and directed on BBC monologue series The Wedding, and was recently in development with BBC comedy for her in-progress short RIP Mark Antony.
