I have been working on and interrogating all aspects of Script Development, including but not limited to: genre, structure, character and premise. On a more micro level, we have looked at beats, dialogue, visual grammar and scene by breakdowns. We have also studied the history of film and the industry landscape to give us context and grounding in the world of Script Development. This culminated in a 6 month project with a writer in which we took them through several drafts of their screenplay. I am delighted to still be working with that writer beyond the course.
