Jessika Barcynski has more than 14 years experience in the television industry. She presently works as a Senior Producer, Edit Producer and Director, primarily within unscripted broadcast TV. Her credits include work for Channel 4, BBC, YouTube, Sony Music, Channel 5, and ITV.
Her expertise lies in producing compelling Factual, Documentary, and Features content. Jessika's work as a Producer has earned significant recognition, with two series winning Best Features at the Royal Television Society Awards in 2021 and 2023. In addition, she's had nominations for two other productions she directed in the last three years.
Jessika's career has taken her across the globe, with filming projects in diverse locations including Russia, Chernobyl, South Korea, Japan, and India. She also has extensive experience working on projects closer to home in the UK.
Jessika serves on the committee of the Royal Television Society Yorkshire, playing a crucial role in representing and celebrating the thriving hub of television in our region.
Currently, Jessika is Edit Producing for an award-winning returning observational documentary series on Channel 5, scheduled to be broadcast later in 2024.
