Martin McManus is a creative development executive who has built his career bridging the worlds of unscripted television and digital-first content, developing original formats & IP and building digital content strategies that translate across audiences, platforms and fandoms for some of the world's leading broadcasters, publishers and brands including the BBC, Prime Video UK, Fremantle, Banijay, VICE, Jamie Oliver, LADBible, Global and Future.
Recent projects include consulting for Flightstory on social formats for Diary of a CEO and developing the BBC's Bookworm TikTok vertical at Little Dot Studios. His roots are in unscripted television, with credits including Strictly Come Dancing, First Dates, Big Brother and Married at First Sight.
With a deep knowledge of how digital culture, audience behaviour and creator ecosystems are reshaping the future of formats, he is constantly pushing at the edges of where formats and creators can go. He is an alumnus of the school.
