Noora is a film editor and documentary filmmaker who’s driven by a commitment to social and environmental issues and people-centred storytelling.
Noora studied editing at Screen Academy Scotland. Her graduate film Grounded (2022) won best Sci-Fi at APEX Film Festival. She has been working as an edit assistant at Hopscotch Films since 2023 where she has been a vital part of productions like The Story of Documentary Film, Sailm nan Daoine and Bel through the span of post-production.
Noora’s passion for editing stems from her love of storytelling. The magic of editing is sinking into the rushes, the narrative and the performances, piecing together visually and emotionally impactful stories. She looks forward to collaborating with the very talented Lab cohort, eventually emerging as an even more skilled editor.
