Robyn Thomson is a Glasgow-based Cinematographer, originally from Dundee, Scotland.
She graduated from Edinburgh Napier University’s BA Film course in 2023, during which she studied Film at Brooklyn College during an exchange semester in 2022.
Since graduating she has honed her craft through shooting a range of narrative short films, as well as gaining experience as a Camera Assistant on short films, commercials and music videos to expand her expertise behind the camera.
She partook in the NFTS Assisting Camera course in 2025, so this progression into NFTS’s Sean Connery Talent Lab as a Cinematographer is an exciting step forward in her career as a DP.
