Roddy McDonald is an Editor and Assistant Editor from Edinburgh with 15 years of experience working in television and feature films. Starting his career at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, he moved into post-production and has earned credits as an Editor on First Dates, Big Brother and Hunted. Following his passion for fiction, he moved into the world of scripted, working on Starstruck, My Policeman and The Man Who Fell To Earth as an Assistant Editor. His most recent credit is on Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2. Since 2018 he’s honed his skills as an Editor cutting short films with up-and-coming UK talent. Roddy is now focussed on taking the next step to fulfil his dream of working as an Editor in narrative storytelling.
