Wayne Derrick has made a great range of television programmes across the genres of true crime, history, adventure, religion, science and even UFOs!  He’s produced specialist factual and current affairs programmes for the BBC Channel 4, Channel 5, PBS and National Geographic Channel. His directing credits include “Drain The Oceans”, “Being Neil Armstrong” and “Tribe”.  

Wayne has specialised in the history genre, bringing people and places from the past back to life for contemporary audiences, with exciting new revelations and perspectives. For example, his programme ‘Mystery of the Self-Made Mummy’ for C5/Discovery Channel explored the unknown story behind the remains of a 400-year-old mummified man and was able to reveal who he was and solve the mystery behind his death.   He’s also worked with celebrities and major talent such as John Hurt, Sian Phillips, Shaun Ryder, Bernard Hill, Anita Rani, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Tony Robinson, John Simpson, Christiane Amanpour, Drs. Chris and Xand Van Tulleken and Bear Grylls.
