This course is aimed at anyone, across scripted and unscripted, who wants to enhance their work with children and young people. This is not just for people working in Children's TV but across all areas where children and young people may be involved in the production.
This course goes beyond the regulatory requirements to help all staff understand how to provide the best supportive and nurturing environment in order get the best from children and young people.
This course will cover a range of topics from how to cast safely, the licencing processes, safety on set, informed consent, when tutoring may be required and lots more.
You will finish the course with a better understanding of what best practice looks like in working with children and young people in Film/TV Production.
This course will focus on a range of topics to increase confidence and awareness in the best approaches to working with children and young people. This will cover each stage of the production. Topics include:
