A Fresh Take: Our Qualifications Are Changing!
The National Film and Television School (NFTS) is thrilled to unveil a major expansion of our world-leading course portfolio, bringing enhanced qualifications, increased access to funding and financial assistance and greater career opportunities for our students. These exciting changes apply to courses beginning in September 2025 and January 2026.
What’s Changing?
Many of our renowned two-year MAs are being revalidated as Master of Fine Art (MFA) degrees. This new qualification better reflects the exceptional standard of training and creative excellence the NFTS is known for.
We're also excited to announce that several of our full-time Postgraduate Diplomas are evolving into our first ever one-year Master’s degrees. These changes come with significant benefits:
- UK students will now be eligible to apply for a Postgraduate Loan (up to the value of £12,471).
- International students will qualify for a UK Graduate Visa, allowing them to stay in the UK for at least two years after graduation.
Take your passion for film, television, and games to the next level by joining our new MA and MFA cohorts in September 2025 and January 2026! To ensure that our courses are accessible to all, there are no longer any application fees required, making applying easier than ever.
