Learn from the Industry: Work with the Industry
Delivered in partnership with IMG, one of the world’s leading sports production companies, this practical, one year MA course provides students with unrivalled access to the industry through professional work placements, live productions and networking opportunities.
Students gain hands on experience across a wide range of sporting events and productions, with placements offering valuable insight into how major sports broadcasts are made. Many have had the opportunity to work alongside leading industry professionals and gain experience on high-profile sporting content.
An IMG scholarship is also available, helping talented individuals from all background access world-class training and industry experience.
A Proven Pathway into Sport Broadcasting
NFTS Sports Production graduates have gone on to successful careers across the sports media landscape, leading to permanent positions with IMG, working with the Premier League, at major golf events, on Olympic productions and with leading sports broadcasters including Sky and the BBC.
Many alumni are currently working across football, F1, golf, darts, athletics, and at major sporting events around the world.
Learn By Doing
The Sports Production MA is built around practical experience. Students work on live projects, create sports content across multiple platforms, and develop the technical and editorial skills needed for a modern sports media career. Whether your ambition is to become a specialist sports producer, editor, camera operator, or content creator, you will learn to pitch, research, script, produce, direct and edit your own features, as well as learn how to produce live sports coverage. The end result? A strong portfolio of work and industry connections that can help launch your sporting career.
