This course provides a thorough overview of how to production manage a factual or documentary series, and provides those attending with an introduction to the principles and practices of the work involved.

The course will cover, amongst other things:

  • Managing the production and its personnel

  • Preparing cost reports and Progress Reports  
    Music, archive, third party clearances and copyright

  • Overseas filming
  • Technical knowledge and understanding
