About the Summer Sessions
We are excited to announce the return of our popular Access NFTS Summer Sessions for 2026!
These FREE hands on sessions are open to young people aged 11–16 and will run throughout August at our Beaconsfield campus. Each week, participants can choose from at least four different 2 hour workshops, each exploring a unique career pathway in the Film, TV and Games industries.
TV Studio Takeover: Live Broadcast Challenge!
Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of a live television show? Here is your chance to run the show. In this high-energy, 2-hour workshop, you will step inside a real TV studio, grab the controls, and experience the fast-paced thrill of live broadcasting.
Here is your production schedule:
Session 1: Mix Up (Not Mess Up!)
Call the shots: Step up as the Director to command the entire studio and choose the perfect camera angles.
Hit the buttons: Play the Vision Mixer to master the control panel keys and change the live TV feed in real-time.
The ultimate test: Work together under pressure to keep the broadcast running smoothly without crashing the show
Session 2: The New Ant & Dec
Gear up: Learn how the pros mic up talent to get crystal-clear audio before the cameras roll.
Take the spotlight: Team up with a partner to host the show as the ultimate presenting duo.
