It’s time to explore one of the best film schools in the world and find out how you could make it in the film, television and games industries!
The National Film and Television School is opening its doors once again for a General Open Day on Saturday 12 October 2024.
Nestled in leafy Buckinghamshire you’ll find a hub of activity. See for yourself our expansive home of 13,000m², that offers 18 shooting spaces, two cinemas, dedicated suites for students on courses such as Composing and Editing, a 4K TV gallery, a Virtual Production screen and much, much more.
Our course leaders, tutors, students and alumni will be on-site to give you all the information you need to feel confident in taking the next steps in your career through one of our 30+ specialist courses. The National Film and Television School is keen to break down financial barriers enabling talented individuals, whatever their background or circumstances, to get access to world-class training. Our Registry Team will be on hand throughout the day to give you advice on fees and funding.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Minimum age is 16 years of age, due to health and safety. Anyone under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.What are the transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
NFTS is located 10 minutes’ walk from Beaconsfield train station which is on the Chiltern line. Parking spaces are available for Blue Badge holders only (please arrange via openday@nfts.co.uk). However, there are plenty of parking options around the NFTS, within walking distance.Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
