Recent NFTS Directing Commercials Diploma graduate Jake Sleet has directed a promo for the NFTS Be Part of the Story campaign, which is to be screened across the majority of cinemas in the UK including Vue, Odeon, Picturehouse, Cineworld, Everyman, Curzon, and BFI IMAX.

Shifting Landscape, curated by Film Studies, Programming and Curation MA student Samuel Thiery is next in the series of film programmes curated by finalist students from the NFTS. The season comprises four dates across January and celebrates South Korean cinema, with films by Park Kwang-su and fellow Korean New Wave director Chung Ji-young; examining the social contexts behind the release of their films as well as their place in South Korea’s illustrious cinematic history.

REWIND Announced as StoryFutures Academy Pilot Work Placement Partner to Place Senior Level Professionals in Key Immersive Production Roles

StoryFutures Academy, the National Centre for Immersive Storytelling jointly run by the National Film and Television School (NFTS) and Royal Holloway University of London, announces that one of its creative partners, REWIND, a world-leading immersive production studio, will host the Academy’s first work placements for a senior level professional from the film, television, theatre or games industries, following a pilot bootcamp training programme in January 2019.

Students from Bucks University Technical College (UTC) are announced as overall winners of the 2018 NFTS Commercial Challenge, a competition to challenge young filmmakers organised by Buckinghamshire Thames Valley Local Enterprise Partnership (BTVLEP) and the National Film and Television School.
