Female Self Shooters is a practical self-shooting skills training programme for factual TV and documentary supported by the BBC. This course is fully funded.
Female Self-Shooters is aimed at all women working as TV Producers or Assistant Producers in unscripted TV or those at producer level, who will be in a position to use the acquired skills after the training, e.g. as 2nd Camera Operators, shooting taster tapes or directing your own self-shot film.
If self-shooting camera skills are a barrier to your progress, this is the course for you!

Dates: Monday 21st September - Friday 25th September. Please ensure you are available for all dates before applying.
Location: Cardiff
Cost: The course runs for five days and the tuition fees are fully funded for all attendees.
Closing Date: Sunday 23rd August at midnight.

You will also have one-to-one feedback from the tutor.
This course is aimed at women with experience of working in TV production as APs / producers / directors in unscripted.
Some experience of shooting factual content and basic knowledge of camera operation and storytelling is desirable.
You must be 18+ and based in Wales, the South West, or the border counties (Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, and Gloucestershire).
