Alan Lewis is an Associate Professor and academic leader specialising in creative technologies, film, games, and interdisciplinary curriculum development. His career spans higher education, industry, and international training, with a focus on building ambitious, practice-based programmes that respond to the changing needs of the creative industries.
He has held senior leadership roles in the UK and internationally, including Head of Academic Operations for Media Industries at NEOM in Saudi Arabia and Head of Division for Creative Technologies at London South Bank University. Across these roles, he has led academic teams, developed curricula, built industry and public-sector partnerships, and contributed to initiatives in immersive technology, creative enterprise, and digital innovation.
