Dr. Elisabet Cabeza Gutés is a Spanish lecturer, film journalist and documentary filmmaker based in London. She writes for Screen International and also contributes to Sight & Sound.
She has lectured on film at the UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and the Faculty of Communication and International Relations Blanquerna in Barcelona and has extensive experience in print and TV reporting. She also works for the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
She has co-written and co-directed two feature documentaries with Esteve Riambau: The Magicians (2005) and Masks (2009). Both premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival. She is a member of the Catalan, Spanish and European Film Academies.
