Fraser is one of the UK’s best known and successful Production Sound Mixers. He Initially trained with the BBC and from there went freelance as a documentary sound recordist. For the last 20 plus years Fraser has been a Production Sound Mixer on high profile TV programmes, such as Taboo, A Christmas Carol, Great Expectations, Strike and The Power for Amazon Prime. He would say he specialises in recording sound in difficult locations having filmed in over 100 countries. He has had numerous Bafta and RTS nominations and won the 2024 RTS award for best sound for the most recent production of Great Expectations. He also has an RTS West of England award for The Lost Honour of Christopher Jeffries.
