Peter started his television career in post-production, becoming an editor before moving into the editorial side of TV production. As an editor, he worked on pretty much every TV genre there is, from sport to music, documentary and light entertainment. As a director, producer and series producer, Peter has worked on a huge range of the BBC’s best-known programmes - from Crimewatch to Horizon. While at Horizon, Peter made films covering all manner of science from mental health to cosmology and what makes us laugh. Away from Horizon, he has made programmes about dinosaurs, engineering (with Jeremy Clarkson), astronomy (The Sky at Night) and the history of science (with Prof Brian Cox). Peter was also head of development for BBC Science. Some of his films have even won awards!
