This comprehensive 5 day course will guide you through storytelling and filmmaking skills in unscripted TV. You will discuss what makes great story, how to prepare for your shoot, how to work with contributors and presenters plus you’ll gain hands-on experience using an FS7 camera.
Tutor Wayne Derrick has produced specialist factual and current affairs programmes for the BBC Channel 4, Channel 5, PBS and National Geographic Channel. His directing credits include “Drain The Oceans”, “Being Neil Armstrong” and “Tribe”.

- 3 documentaries you have enjoyed to discuss with the group
- Up to 2 ideas of your own for a documentary
