We are working in partnership with 4Skills, Lime Pictures, Screen Manchester & Liverpool Film Office to deliver a series of courses for those interested in developing their skills in the following areas:
- Camera Familiarisation/Shooting Exercises
- Lighting for HETV Cameras
- Shooting on Set & on Location
These sessions are fully funded.
Pathway One | Camera Familiarisation/Shooting Exercises

If you are already in the industry and are keen to upskill, this course is for you. You must demonstrate a keen interest and passion for working with cameras and lighting. You should have some experience of the practical workings of the camera team and a basic level of technical competency. For this course we will be using industry standard equipment such as ARRI cameras and lighting equipment, so some heavy lifting will be involved.
This course is targeted to those living in Liverpool City region and Greater Manchester.
Travel bursaries are available if required.
