The Prime Video Directors Workshop, delivered by the NFTS, will enable you to make that next short film, and it’s completely free!
This Prime Video pathway course is a ground-breaking 12-month course designed specifically to increase the number of people from historically excluded groups and those from lower social economic backgrounds working in screen directing.
The NFTS is looking for talented filmmakers that are either women, non-binary, transgender (men and women), those from racially diverse backgrounds, deaf, disabled or neuro-diverse and/or from a lower-social economic background to apply for the Prime Video Directors Workshop. We are hoping to attract candidates from across the UK.
Taking the form of an intensive training course in narrative filmmaking, the six participants selected to take part will each create their own original short film during the workshop, which will welcome a new cohort in April 2024.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Due to Health and Safety regulations, you must be 18 years of age or older to attend this Open Day.
What are the transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
NFTS Leeds is located at ITV Studios, 27 Burley Road, Leeds, LS3 1JT. We are a 15 minute walk from Leeds Train Station and buses & taxis are easily accessible from the city centre. There is no on-site parking available, however there is a pay and display car park (Burley Road Car Park) directly opposite the building and you can pay for parking using the PayByPhone app.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You can print or simply show your online ticket/QR code on your smart phone when you arrive.
